Some Remarks on Writing Course Teaching in College English

写作是大学英语学习的四项技能之一,也是衡量英语综合能力的重要指标。然而,多年来英语写作一直是大学英语教学中最为薄弱的环节,教学效果很不理想。本文就写作中存在的问题作一探讨,并提出一些解决问题的对策,以期对大学英语写作教学有所裨益。

Writing is one of the four skills necessary for success in college English classes and is also one of the main criteria used for assessing a student＇ s English mastering ability, But, for years, the English writing course has proved to be the weakest link in college English teaching and still has a long way to go to achieve its target. This article makes an enquiry into this problem and gives some practical suggestions for teaching effectively, bringing some benefits to both teachers and students.
