In this paper, a device of automatic hydro-control system is designed for surge irrigation of field corps. The irrigative power is produced by the channel water rather than other power plants. In addition, the stepless adjustment of irrigative parameters can he attained to satisfy users＇ demands and guarantee the irriga- tive quality. To this end, the working principle, design method and procedure of automatic hydro-control system are developed for water-saving on surface irrigation.
