新中国初期,中国共产党领导的革命胜利成为激发社会新风尚的温床;同时,中国共产党采取一系列政策、措施和行动,有力地推动了社会风尚的演变;特别是中国共产党身体力行,成为社会新风尚的楷模。这些,在整个社会风尚的演变中起了重要作用。

In the early years of New China the success of the revolution led by the Communist Party of China （CPC） became a powerful driving force for generating new social ethics. Taking the tide at the flood the CPC took a series of policies, measures and actions to forcefully bring about a change in the social atmosphere; in particular, the Party organizations and members earnestly practiced what they advocated and set a good example in these endeavors. All these had a vital effect on the change for the better in social ethics and practices.
