摘要
毗邻区黄陵背斜裸露的崆岭群,系太古界结晶基底。该结晶基底上的冷家溪群、梵净山群和四堡群为下元古界褶皱基底,并具“P型克拉通”之基底结构。而神农架群、板溪群、下江群与丹洲群,均属毗邻区地台之第一个盖层。基底与盖层之间的高角度不整合界面,系武陵造山运动的记录。武陵运动与华北地台的吕梁运动相当。毗邻区扬子地台,为古老的稳定克拉通,极有利于原生金刚石矿床的形成。
Kongling Group outcropping in Huangling anticline is Archeozoic crystalline basment and Lengjiaxi Group,Fanjing shan Group and Sibao Group on it compose the early Proterozoic fold basement,so “P type craton”basement structure exists in this area.Shennongjia Group,Banxi Group,Xiajiang Group and Danzhou Group all belong to the first cover of Yangtze platform.The unconformity between the basement and the cover is the record of Wuling orogeny equal to Luliang orogeny of Huabei platform.The adjacent area in Yangtze platform is an ancient stable craton,very advantageous to form primary diamond deposits.
