中国旅游本科教育萎缩的问题及出路--对旅游高等教育30年发展现状的思考

On the Shrinking of China's Tourism Undergraduate Education and Way Out——Thoughts about Thirty Years of Development of Tourism Higher Education

对中国高等教育30年来发展现状的调查发现,不管是排名前10位的著名大学,还是最先开设旅游管理本科专业的8所高等院校,以及后来开设旅游专业的众多高校,都不同程度地存在旅游本科教育萎缩的问题。产生这一问题的主要原因是旅游行业对人才的需求特点与高等教育体制所设定的人才培养模式二者间存在矛盾,目前解决这一问题的思路是从提高学生就业层次入手,保证旅游的生源不萎缩和行业就业率提高,使旅游本科教育能够增强利用优势教育资源的实力,由萎缩转向成长。

Investigations about thirty years of development of China＇ s higher education find that there exists the problem of shrinking regarding tourism undergraduate education in various degree, no matter in the ten top-notch universities or in the eight institutions of higher learning that first sot up tourism majors as well as quite a number of ＂follow-up＂ colleges and universities. The main reason lies in the fact that there is contradiction between the characteristics that tourism trade requires for graduates and talent-cultivation mode set by higher educational system. The current solution for the problem should focus on improving the hierarchy of employment on the part of tourism graduates so as to ensure the supply of qualified freshmen and raise employment rate of graduates. By utilizing advantageous educational resources, tourism education can be gradually developed.
