摘要
通过对在福建沿海地下发掘出土的海兽骨骼、古文献比较分析研究，提出了福建省古代7种海兽分布名录；依据采集和调查到的现生海兽标本，提出了福建省18种海兽的种类和分布。
In the coast of Fujian, there are eighteen species of sea. mammals, Of 2 suborders, 7families and 12 genera. They are Gray whale (Eschrichtius rodustus), Sei whale (Bal aenoptera borealis), Bryde' S whale (B. edeni), Minke whale (B. acutorostrata), Humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae), Sperm whale (Phyeter macrocephalus), common dolphin (Delphinus delphis),Cape dolphin(D. capensis),Pacific white-sided dolphin (Lagenorhynchus obliquidens),Bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops trvncatus), Southern bottlenose dolphin (T. adun cus),Atlantic spotted dolphin (Stenella frontalis), Indo-pacific humpbacked dolphin (Sousa chinensis), Finless porpoise (Neophocaena pho. phocaenoides and Neo. pho. asiaeorientalis),False killer whale (Pseudorca crassidens), Risso' S dolphin (Grampus griseus), Larga seal (Phoca largha) and Bearded seal (Erignathus barbatus).
