摘要
本文报告了西南科技大学外国语学院对英语专业笔译教学模式的探索与实践。该教学模式以培养学生翻译综合素养、建构合理的翻译知识结构及提高学生的实际笔译能力为目标，对授课内容、教学方法、测试手段等方面进行了改革和尝试，旨在把学生培养成为实用型人才，为他们将来就业和进一步深造打下良好的基础，为翻译事业培养后备力量和生力军。
The paper reports the exploration and practice of the translation teaching mode in the Foreign Languages School of Southwest University of Science ＆ Technology. The mode focuses on cultivation of comprehensive translation quality of undergraduates, improvement of their translation competence, as well as their acquisition of translation knowledge. Based on the mode, the author and her colleagues conduct a tentative trial of teaching materials, teaching methods and testing models, aiming at having graduates meet the society＇s demands and laying a solid foundation for their further study.
