嵌入式系统设计中经常需要扩展网口,以方便同外部通讯。介绍一种新款网络接口芯片DM9000A,它具有封装小、低功耗、AUTO-Mdix等特点。论述该芯片与ARM处理器AT91RM9200之间的硬件接口设计,同时实现了在Linux系统中网络驱动开发。
Expanded Ethernet interface is often needed to communicate with exterior products in embedded system design. This paper introduces a new type Ethernet controller DM9000A. It has characteristics such as tiny package, low power consumption and AUTO-Mdix. The paper also introduces how to design the hardware interface of DM9000A and the device driver of embedded Linux system.
