摘要
基质金属蛋白酶-9(MMP-9)是一种Zn^(2+)依赖性蛋白水解酶,能降解和重塑细胞外基质,破坏血脑屏障,介导炎症反应,促进神经细胞死亡,同时也有利于运动功能的恢复。MMP-9激活和调控与神经系统疾病的发病机制有密切的关系。MMP-9是研究过程中发现的新靶点,为神经系统疾病的早期诊断、并发症的预防和治疗开辟了新的途径,为神经系统疾病患者的治疗带来曙光。
Matrix metalloproteinases-9(MMP-9) is a zinc-dependent endopeptidase that participates in degrading and remoding extracellular matrix, destructing the blood-brain barrier, promoting inflammation, finally leads to neuron apoptosis and locomotor recovery. Its activation and regulation are closely correlated with the pathogenesis of neurologic disease. Through these studies new approaches in the early diagnosis, prevention and treatment can be found.
