House in House Extension of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce Building

班尼士建筑师事务所设计的德国汉堡商会大楼加建工程是在一栋有近170年历史的历史建筑的大厅内加建的6层高的综合功能体,被誉为"房子里的房子"。该设计有两个非常突出的特征:一是在处理新建部分和历史建筑关系上,建筑师采用了强烈对比的设计策略——既表达了对历史的充分尊重,也使面积不大的新建内容保持了独立性和个性;二是新建部分的照明完全采用LED技术,并且,为该项目特制的LED照明模块与建筑构件进行了充分整合。

Hidden inside the Hamburg＇s 1841 Renaissance Revival building,the new extension project of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce by Behnisch Architekten——called＂House in House＂——provides modern elegance on its historic setting.The new glass- and-steel pavilion with small footprint brings lightness and immaterial appearance contrast with the heavy historic building all around it.And it is the first building in the world lit exclusively by LED lighting system.The design team developed future-oriented lighting concept——integrating LED modules with building material and building elements.
