On the Function of Library in Protecting the Intangible Cultural Heritage in Ethnic Area

民族地区非物质文化丰富,但其保存现状令人担忧。民族地区图书馆可以通过参与对非物质文化遗产的调查、研究工作,收集、保存非物质文化遗产文献资料,建立民族特色非物质文化遗产专题阅览室、数据库和网站,以发挥重要的保护作用。

There are rich intangible cultures in ethnic area, but the preservation of them is a worry to us. Libraries in ethnic area can play an important role in protecting these intangible cultural heritages by their participations＇ in survey, investigation and research work, collecting and preserving documents of intangible cultural heritages, and establishment of special reading room, database and websites.
