摘要
如今提到“世贸中心7号楼”（7 Word Trade Center。）的名字，恐十白大多数人首先想到的是2001年的那场灾难。“9．11”事件中，美国人最引以为傲的纽约湾“天际线”，世界金融、贸易中心的“曼哈顿下城区”遭到了毁灭性的破坏，以世界贸易中心“双子塔”为核心，其周边的许多建筑也难逃此难，当中就包括了新世贸中心7号楼的前身。
Talking about the 7World Trade Center today it becomes clear how different the new tower is to the original developed in 1984,After the original building was destroyed on September 11,2001,David Childs of Skidmore Owings and Merrill,led the team that designed the new tower.
