日本在地铁、隧道等地下工程中球铁构件应用很普遍，世界著名的英吉利海峡跨海隧道工程也采用了大量的球铁管片。在国内组织生产这类铸件并不难。

Channel tunnel segments of ductile cast iron are used commonly for underground project in Japan. Famous project of English Channel between British and France was used a number of segments of ductile cast iron, too. At present, production the castings in China is no problem.
