摘要
本文旨在介绍分析社会学这一社会学新领域的理论背景、理论起点、总体框架和工具方法。分析社会学由牛津大学Peter Hedstrm等人提出,强调运用中层理论的方法,以个体行动为基础,旨在建立对社会现象的机制性因果解释。分析社会学既继承了覆盖率解释的决定论思路,又提倡通过定量分析、正式模型、多主体计算机仿真、网络分析和实证校准等工具来探求从微观向宏观跃升的因果关系。作为社会学理论发展的最前沿,分析社会学将对提升社会学分析的理论解释力和社会科学的方法融合起到促进作用。
The present essay aims to summarize the background, starting point, major framework and methodology of Analytical sociology which is proposed by Prof. Peter Hedstr?m at Oxford University. Stressing the significance of middle-ranged theory, analytical sociology is based on methodological individualism and characterized by identifying mechanism-based explanation linking micro and macro. It reflects the combination of the determinism of covering-law explanation and new analytical methodology such as formal model, multi-agent simulation, network analysis and empirical calibration. As a most cutting-edge research field of sociology, it improves the explanatory power of sociological analysis and the integration in terms of methodology in social science.
