Acute coronary syndrome ( ACS ) is a chronic inflammatory disease and T cell activation is an important factor in this process. OX40 and OX40 ligand mediated signaling is important in co-activation of CD4 + T cells and facilitates B-T cell interaction. OX40/ OX40L can provide co-stimulatory signals and has been implicated in the onset and progression of ACS.
