Ye Yong - lie＇s work- Red Trilogy is a recollection of the history of the Communist Party in China. In the work, he uses a large number of document data. Generally speaking, there are four application forms： 1. the documents which are used as historic facts; 2. the documents which are used as plots; 3. the documents which are used conversational materials; 4. the documents which are used as supplements.Through the analysis of these four application forms, we can comprehend the literary meanings （ Literary Significance） of documents in the Literature of Actual Events. On the other hand, we can combine the history and the literature perfectly.
