摘要
人们通常用大众文化的商品化特征来批判和否定大众文化,认为这是艺术的异化。其实艺术始终具有商品性的特征,因为艺术也是一种生产,需要通过流通和交换实现其价值。从历史与现实上看,艺术商品化和市场化的实现,是社会经济和文化的正常现象,它给艺术带来了自由,使大众成为艺术享受的主体,是艺术进步和繁荣的表现,所以,市场经济就是大众文化繁荣的社会基础。
Popular culture is often criticized because of its commercialization,but culture and art always have features of commodity,for culture and art are also a kind of production.The value of artwork shows in market and exchange.In the view of history and reality,the style of commodity is not only a normal social economic and cultural phenomenon,but a symbol of artistic freedom,reflecting artistic progress and prosperity.The style of commodity and market economy are the foundation of modern popular culture.
