Principles on Layer Manufacturing Technology and Its Applications

摘要 介绍了当今CAD/CAM技术在分层快速原型制造技术领域的应用。主要包括快速原型制造技术的工作原理,该项技术的几种用途。该项技术的普及将会带来模具和模型制造业的革命。 Manufacturing today means that more complex products must be brought to the market at a dramatically reduced time. So efficient tools must be used such as CAD/CAM in combination with the new fast growing field layer manufacturing technology (rapid prototyping). Applications of layer manufacturing technology are briefly introduced. Some fundamentals about this new-high technology are also mentioned. It is believed that LMT will revolutionarize the making of mold or module.
