In the design and construction, the standardized design can improve the design quality and efficiency and give both distinct economic and social benefits through speeding the project progress, lowering construction cost and ensuring the safety, etc. The paper presents some practices and experiences in the application of standardized design in construction design of Boxi terminal project.
