With the devolopment of imaging devices for nuclear medicine, in the study of nuclear medicine image processing has become one of the most important topics. From an engineer's view the achievements and devolopment tendancy have been studied recently in this field, such as quantitative analysis, 3D analysis, image registration, matching between atlas and image, etc. The present condition direction, trouble and chances for nuclear medicine image processing study are overviewed.
