On the similarities and dissimilarities in lexical meaning fuzziness between Chinese and English

词义的模糊性在不同语言中既有相同的一面,也有相异的一面。开展语言模糊性的比较研究,可以发现不同语言之间模糊性的共同性与差异性。本文运用汉英对比的方法,从词汇义的模糊性这一方面探讨了不同语言之间词义的模糊性之异同。

There are both similarities and dissimilarities in the fuzziness of word meaning between different languages. The comparative research on Linguistic fuzziness comfibutes to the discovery of the similarities and differences in fuzziness between different languages. This paper, by comparing Chinese and English, is to explore the similarities in the fuzziness of word meaning between different languages from the aspect of lexical meaning fuzziness.
