The Usage of Band Four Vocabulary in College English Writing

词汇教学已经成为大学英语教学中的一个重要组成部分。语料库作为庞大的语言素材的集合体,为研究词汇的使用特点提供了丰富的语料资源。以语料库基础,探讨大学生在英语写作中对于"四级词汇"的使用特征及存在问题,并提出相应的基本对策,对于教师进一步改进词汇教学具有现实意义。

Vocabulary learning is becoming an indispensable part in college English teaching. This paper discusses the characteristics in the aspect of students using Band Four vocabulary in their composition by means of corpus and analyzes the existing problems. The author also advances her own views on how to deal with this situation,which will be beneficial to help English teachers improve their vocabulary teaching methods.
