摘要
当前,在学校实施专业双语教学必须明确一些基本问题,并对其作出科学的辨析和回答。这些问题主要是:专业双语教学的目标取向是提高语言水平还是发展专业知识?文化基础是基于母语文化还是重在外语文化?理论依据是倡导工具主义还是坚持人文主义?教材选择是进行双语改编还是引进原版著作?师资力量是着眼引进外教还是加强教师培训?方法建构是追求完美主义还是探索多元体系?对于这些问题,都不应作出简单的回答。
The implementation of bilingual teaching of Specialized courses in China's university entails the clarification and scientific analysis of some fundamental problems before presenting practical solutions. Such issues are mainly as follows: which is the orientation of bilingual teaching of professional courses: the improvement of language capability or that of professional knowledge? Which should Cultural foundation be based on, native culture or foreign culture? Which theory should be applied, instrumentalism or humanism? Which are preferable, English textbooks in the original or the bilingually-adapted? Which is the better way, to employ foreign teachers or to train Chinese teachers? Which methodology construction should be employed, upholding science principle or pluralism? All these issues need to be carefully studied.
