大学生是实现国家现代化的宝贵人才资源。因此,培养政治觉悟高、业务素质好的大学生党员,是时代赋予高校的历史使命。当前高校在发展学生党员工作中普遍存在着一些亟需解决的问题,必须把党员发展与提高学生综合素质联系起来,规范组织发展工作,在高校营造积极向上的和谐氛围,不断提高高校教育水平。

University students are the valuable human resources to achieve the modernization, so it is a historic mission of the institutions of higher learning to train Party members having both political consciousness and professional ability in university students. At present, there exist some problems in the admission of new Party members in students in the institutions of higher learning. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate the admission of new Party members with the improvement of overall quality of students and to standardize the admission work to create an active and harmonious atmosphere in institutions of higher learning to improve the educational level.
