摘要
语言学家们普遍认为,第二语言中的绝大多数词汇是学习者在泛读过程中偶然习得的。虽然偶然性习得理论中的许多问题尚未得到解决,但是可以肯定,偶然性习得研究对于英语教学具有较高的理论价值和实践意义。
It is widely agreed that much second language vocabulary learning coours incidentally while the learner is engaged in extensive reading. Although many questions remain unsettled, surely incidental acquisition research has instructive significance and highly theoretical value in English teaching.
