The digital era and the network era are future trends of library existence and development. Speeding public library＇ digital construction and promoting service quality are the public library＇s contributions to whole society wisdom database, knowledge center and dissemination center . Through analyzing and evaluating Harbin Library＇s current situation and difficulties in digital construction, this paper puts forward some development ways in a future time.
