View on the Future of Literature from the Cultural Character of Contemporary Literature

中国文学因承载了文化思想而显厚重,但有些时候,文学也会因思想背后的意识形态过分压抑而表现出单薄。未来的文学不会因此而走向消亡,必将走向回归,走向自觉,回到文学本来的样子。

Chinese literature takes on its solidness because of the carried cultural thoughts, while sometimes shows its tenuity because of the much repressive ideology behind the thoughts. However, the future literature will not vanish and it is bound to return consciously to its original mien.
