On April 22, 2008 the commending meeting of China agricul- ture meritorious persons was held in Beijing. Ten of agricultural science ＆ technology workers including Mr. Fu Tingdong were awarded the title of ＂China agriculture meritorious persons＂. The member of the Political Bureau of CCCPC and the vice-premier of the State Council, Mr. Hui Liangyu, attended the meeting and gave a warm congratulation to the winners. He emphasized the CCCPC and the State Council always attach importance to the farm works and the development of agricultural science and technology.
