Research on "Cao Ci" of Inscribed Slips of the Sun-Wu Period

走马楼三国吴简中有一种文书形式自称"草刺",文首多书"草言"二字,是撰写文件草稿的记录,内容包括所书文件的概要、撰写日期及撰写人,用于备案待查。此类文书可略举58例,并其释文可进一步校对。

One style of documents on bamboo slips in Three Kingdoms period unearthed at Zoumalou is called ＂cao ci＂. The tops of the documents usually have two characters ＂cao yan＂, which are the documents＇ outlines, dates and the writers, used for setting up a file treats to look up. This article verifies the meanings of the two charaters ＂cao yan＂, collects this style of documents which have already been released, and makes a textual research on the meanings of these documents.
