一部学术佳作的若干失误——评卓南生《中国近代报业发展史1815—1874》

Review of Zhuo Nansheng's Modern History of the Development of Chinese Newspaper Industry 1815～1874

新加坡学者卓南生所著《中国近代报业发展史1815-1874》，发掘丰富的原始资料，对中国近代报业的发展进程作了详细考察，无疑是一部佳作。但作者对报刊原文的解读与引征均存在一些问题，当有商榷之必要。

Singaporean scholar Zhuo Nansheng＇s Modern History of the development of Chinese Newspaper Industry 1815-1874 is an excellent work that digs out abundant source materials and takes a close look at the history of development of modern Chinese newspaper industry. However, there are some misquotations and problems lying in the interpretation of the original text. This article makes some criticisms of the book.
