The Coutts,a private banking service from Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS),has a history of more than 300 years and, today,it still manages wealth for British Queen Elizabeth II and other European aristocrats.Becoming a strategic investor of the Bank of China at the end of 2005,the private banking service of RBS also entered into China. In late March 2007,the private banking branches branded with both BOC and RBS opened in Beijing and Shanghai. According to statistics from the Boston Consulting Group,in 2007,there are 363,000 households with financial assets of more than one million US dollars(not including business and real estate)in China;in 2011,China's million-dollar households are expected to reach 609,000. Since March 2007,BOC private banking has been the financial butlers for only 300 Chinese million- dollar families. The petential is huge. Inexperienced Chinese bank and detail-oriented and quality-driven European bank are now serving a group of American-style zealous Chinese fortune creators all together. What kind of crashes and conflicts will it produce?
