The area, where the special passenger line from Zhengzhou to Xi＇ an has complex geological conditions and wide loess distribution, so in construction of this project measures to protect and drain out the underground water have to be taken into consideration, especially in tunnel construction. In this paper the applied methods, Such as the blind pipe drainage, the waterproof board construction and the water-strips and water-proofing membranes technique were introduced in details.
