On Marx's Social Self-criticism

社会自我批判包含了对社会认识的批判和对社会存在这个"原本"的批判。社会自我批判的产生是一个社会历史发展过程,只有在"特定条件下"才会发生。资本主义社会的自我批判是目前为止人们对社会认识及其存在展开的最为自觉和科学的自我批判。社会自我批判在本质上是对社会实践的自我批判。社会实践的自我批判有利于科学理解社会存在和社会实践,从而为改造社会存在提供理论和思想的武器,有利于正确理解人类社会发展历史,揭示人类社会发展规律。

Social self-criticism includes criticism of social cognition and the ＂original＂ criticism of social existence. The being of social self-criticism is a social and historical process, and only under ＂certain conditions＂ can it happen. Till now, the self-criticism of capitalist society is the most conscious and scientific one that people made for social cognition and its existence. Social self-criticism is in nature the self-criticism of social practice, which is propitious to a scientific understanding of social existence and,practice, therefore providing theoretical and ideaistic weapon for reconstructing society, beneficial in proper understanding the development history of human society and unveiling the law of the development of human society.
