袁桷《延佑四明志》人物立传问题浅议

The Analysis about Yuan Jue Writing Biography in his "The Records of Yanyousiming"

清代学者全祖望认为元代袁桷作《延佑四明志》只给降元者作传而未给抗元人士作传是要颠倒是非,"党于降元之徒也",笔者认为,这种看法有失偏颇。影响袁桷选择立传人物,既有传统价值观的影响,更有宋末元初社会现实的刺激,当然也有袁桷身处元代的实际,而立传者也确有可传之处。

Quan Zu - wang, scholar of the Qing Dynaty, think that ＂the records of yanyousiming＂, writen by Yuan Jue is unfairable beause the author wrote biography for those who gave up to Yuan Synisty but not for who didn＇ t. He thought, Yuan Jue showed partiality to those who was gave up to Yuan Dynisty. Ithink the view of the Quan Zu wang is unjustic. There were some elments that infulened Yuan Quan to chose whom the biography was written for , the influnce of traditional value, stimulation of the social reality and the soial situation where auther lived. What＇ s more there were necessities for writing it.
