"Tragedy" and Cultural Spirit——Analysis and Discrimination of Characteristic between the Chinese Tragedy and Western Tragedy

一个民族的文化,由于其文化生存的土壤、文化生长的环境、文化生发的气候的特异,必然会形成一个民族独特的悲剧精神和美学价值判断,文学作为文化精神的载体,也必然因其独特的文化语境而呈现其差异性。本文主要通过中西悲剧文本中关于悲剧成因的解释及悲剧主体反抗走向的挖掘,对中西悲剧的艺术个性差异,特别是透过这种差异所折射出的悲剧精神之特征作一探讨,从而对中西文化差异性之形成渊源从文学角度作出阐释。

A national culture would from a particular tragedy spirit and aesthetic judgment because of the differences in the soil where the culture survives , the enviroment where the culture grows and even the geographical fedtures. The literature , as carrier of the cultural spirit , also varies between nations owing to each unique cultural context. This paper has discussed the artistic characteristic differences between Chinese and Western tragedy , especially the features of the tragedy spirit reflected from this contrast , according to the explanation of the origins of each culture＇ s tragedy and the excavation of ＂the main body revolt tendency＂ ; and then given an illumination of the origination of the formation of diversity between each culture in the aspect of literature.
