试论独立学院外语课程设置的合理模式

An Appropriate Model for the Curriculum Layout of the Foreign Language Majors in an Independent College

以综合素质和实际工作能力的培养为导向,分析了当前普通高校独立学院外语专业课程的设置导向、类型及数量等方面存在的一些问题,论述了改革课程模式应遵循的原则,根据毕业生就业实际需求提出"5+4+3"课程设置的思路,以求摸索独立学院外语课程设置的合理模式。

To work out a curriculum that orients to foster well-rounded students with practical working ability, the paper elaborates the problems in curriculum design, the types and the numbers of the courses in the current curriculum for the foreign language majors in the universities and suggests principles to be followed in curriculum reform. Answering to the employment need of the students, the paper proposes a ＂5 plus 4 and 3＂ design as an attempt to offer an ideal curriculum model for independent college.
