《救迷良方》与戒除鸦片烟毒

Jiu mi liang fang （Effective Prescriptions for Rescuing Addict） and quitting from opium addiction

清代青浦著名医家何其伟，在鸦片烟毒泛滥、严重危害人民健康之际，应林则徐要求，秉着医家的责任感和同情心，辑录戒烟方论而成《救迷良方》。这部现存最早的戒烟专著，理法方药齐备，对鸦片的危害、性味归经，瘾成过程及病机、瘾发症状等，均有较全面、正确的认识，指出戒烟需先立志坚定，以治心瘾，所载戒烟方药，经过了实践验证，当时流传甚广；所述戒烟思想和方法，一直为后世沿用，在民间广泛传播。

When opium was running rampantly and seriously damaging people＇ s health in the Qing dynasty, in response to the request of Lin Ze-xu, He Qi-wei, a contemporary famous physician at Qingpu, based on his own professional responsibility and compassion, compiled Jiu mi liangfang （Effective Prescriptions for Rescuing Addict） ,the first extant monograph on quitting opium which includes the detriments of opium, its nature, taste and channel tropism, causes and pathogenesis of addiction, and the symptoms. He pointed out that the powerful will was essential. The prescriptions recorded in the book were effective through the proof of practice and very popular at that time. The thought and measures he mentioned are still in use even now, and spread widely in the folks.
