Acupuncture and Its Sophisticated Effects

从针灸效应的作用因子和非线性层面,探讨了针灸效应的复杂性。研究认为,针灸作为一种对最复杂的生命体系-人体的治疗手段,其疗效是确切而肯定的。它通过物理性刺激,产生内源性生物效应,整体地调节人体的失衡状态,从而达到机体的自稳,其效应本身便具有复杂性。这种复杂性体现在其作用因子具有多要素性,且形成了复杂的层次,其效应具有非线性。换句话讲,针灸的治疗效应并不仅仅存在于组成经络、腧穴的结构中,还存在于各个作用因子在生命体的组合中。有鉴于此,结合现代复杂系统科学,建立着眼于临床的数据模型和软件平台,通过对病症和针灸治疗的模拟,找出针灸作用规律和优化方案是十分必要的。

This paper presents a reflection on the sophisticated effects of acupuncture. As an approach to treat human body, a most sophisticated biological system on the earth, acupuncture has been proved effective for exerting physical stimulations, producing endogenous biological effects, and tuning a malfunctioned body. Acupuncture produces sophisticated effects featured with multi-parameter, combined acting factors, and nonlinear results. In other words, acupuncture produces its therapeutic effects not only relying on the anatomic structure of meridians and acupoints, but also on the combined effects of all acting factors in human body. It is proposed to establish a data model and software platform to study the sophisticated effects of acupuncture, in an attempt to work out a road map for such effects and an optimized treatment plan.
