Thomas Hobbes' Argument on Freedom and Deliberation

摘要 霍布斯对自由的论述不仅对自由意志问题的讨论具有深远的影响,而且也是他的政治理论的一个重要组成部分,因此对于我们理解他的政治理论具有至关重要的意义。本文通过重建霍布斯对自由的理解,试图揭示他的自由理论在当代自由意志的形而上学和政治哲学中的重要性。 Thomas Hobbes' argument on freedom is an importan part of his political theory and exerts a far-reaching influence on the discussion of free will.A good understanding of his argument on freedom will shed light on his political theory.This paper explains his theory on freedom and reveals its important role in contemporary political philosophy and metaphysics of free will.
