1986年济南成立第一家城市信用社，后来发展为15家。1991年5月组建成立济南市城市信用社联合社，1996年6月6日成立济南市城市合作银行。1998年6月6日更名为济南市商业银行，这是山东省第家地方性股份制商业银行，如今也已成为山东省首家实现与外资银行战略合作的地方法人金融机构。

In 1983, the People＇s Bank of China started to perform the function, and the Jinan branch bank was in charge of the unified administration of the financial institutions in Jinan, which witnessed the reform of Jinan＇s financial system. 30 years have passed, and people in the financial institutions all feel that the achievements today have not been gained easily.
