The Strategic Adjustments of Japan towards Africa

二战以来,日本对非战略诉求经历了从"重视经济"到"经政并重",再到"政治为主、经济为辅"的调整。目前,非洲成为日本争做"政治大国"战略的"外交支点"之一,其对非战略虽取得了一定的成效,但也面临诸多挑战。

Since the end of the World War II,Japan's strategic interest in Africa has undergone great changes,from 'economic gains only' to 'both political and economic gains' and to 'political gains first,economic gains second',and its policy towards Africa has been adjusted accordingly.Presently,Africa has become one of the 'diplomatic bases' for Japan to realize its 'political power' ambition.Although Japan's current African strategy has achieved some success,it is also confronted with a lot of challenges.
