摘要
为提高编码效率,从运动估计匹配法则的特性分析出发,提出一种基于MSE匹配法则的全零块判决算法.在保持编码质量的前提下,推荐算法能够有效地提高运动估计的速度并减少DCT和量化的运算量.MPEG-4下的实验表明,改进的判决条件能够检测出高达92.6%的全零块;推荐算法比常规算法最大能节省65.7%的整体编码时间.
To improve encoding efficiency, beginning with property analysis for the block matching algorithms (BMA), a judgment for detecting all-zero block based on mean squared error (MSE) is proposed. Under contralling encoding quality, the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the motionestimation speed and reduce the amount of computation in discrete cosine transform (DCT) and quantization. Experiments in MPEG-4 show that the improved judgment can detect 92.60//00 maximal all-zero blocks, the proposed algorithm can save 65.70//00 maximal encoding time relative to the normal one.
