Conformance testing of protocols based TTCN （tree and tabular combined notation） is the important method of ensuring that protocols application is right. After introducing the ICMPv6 （ICMP for IPv6） protocol and standards of TTCN, a conformance test system based on TTCN is designed. The architecture and principle of the system is described, and then the methods and steps about ICMPv6 conformance testing are introduced. The test suit is run on the testing-platform.
