摘要
据《达拉斯报》2007年1月7日报道：在德克萨斯州,目前已有部分学生参加了德克萨斯虚拟学校（Texas Virtual Academy）,并通过网络学习正规学校课程。该网络公立学校建立于2007年，面向家在较偏远地区的学生群体。该项教学的实施使德克萨斯成为联邦网络教育的中心实验地。
