近年海南甘蔗育种场开展基础杂交培育新型亲本材料的初报

Breeding New Parent Materials Through Basic Crosses at Hainan Sugarcane Breeding Station in Recent Years

本文报道海南甘蔗育种场近年来利用新种质、新技术开展基础杂交，培育新型杂本（或育种材料）的情况。这些基础条交后代有甘蔗属的种间杂种，也有甘蔗属与蔗茅属的居间杂种。突出的后代品系作重点介绍，并将于短期内投入经济杂交，为我国育种界所利用，以扩大当今甘蔗遗传基础，提高甘蔗新品种素质。

This paper reported that basic crosses using new sugarcane germplasm and techniques were conducted at Hainan Sugarcane Breeding Station in recent years. The progenies were hybrids from interspecies crosses of Saccharum genus and intergeneric crosses of Saccharum - Mrianthus Outstanding clones selected will be provided for commercial crossing for expanding genetic basis for the further improvement of sugarcane varieties.
