亚洲区域内集装箱运输:并不总是一帆风顺

Intra-Asian box trade:not always a smooth ride

在过去的六年内，亚洲区域内的集装箱贸易量以两位数的速度增长，一些规模较小的班轮公司认为亚洲区域内的班轮运输服务是一个很诱人的细分市场。周转期短、投资少，使得亚洲区域内航线门槛降低。亚洲区域内航线对主要班轮公司也同样具有吸引力，亚洲区域内航线帮助这些班轮公司覆盖更广阔的地理区域。但是规模不同的两类班轮公司在同一市场上的经历却大相径庭。

Intra-Asian container trade volumes are estimated to have grown at double-digit levels in the last six years,and intra-regional services within Asia can be accessed as a lucrative niche by smaller liner operators. Short transit times and smaller initial investment set a lower barrier to entry. Intra-Asian services are also attractive to major liner companies,helping mainlane operators reach an increased geographic range. These two intra-Asian operator groups have,however,experienced differing fortunes.
