Practice of Improving Discipline Development with General Innovation

学科是高校发挥教学、科学研究和社会服务三大功能的基本平台,是院校核心竞争力的关键要素。近年来,国内高等院校纷纷实行强强联合,走集约化、规模化发展道路;军医大学面临严峻的生存压力和发展压力。学校坚持"思路创新,机制创新,条件创新",推进学科建设形成"规模、结构、质量、效益、特色"协调发展的良性循环,取得明显成效。

Discipline is the basic platform on which universities play the role of teaching, scientific research and social service, as well as a key factor of core competence of universities. In recent years, domestic universities always follow the ways of win - win combination, development with intensification and at scale. In this context, military universities are facing great pressure of existence and development. How to break up this bottleneck and develop in a scientific way？ Our university persisted in the philosophy of ＂thought innovation, mechanism innovation and conditions innovation＂, which promotes the coordinated development of discipline construction with virtuous circle of ＂scale, structure, quality, benefit and characteristic＂ and obtains obvious achievements. This practice and its underlying theoretical foundation were discussed.
