A LEACH Based Algorithm and Simulations for Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要 针对LEACH协议的不足之处做了改进。改进算法通过考虑节点的剩余能量和簇首的平均能耗的关系来优化簇首的选举,采用次簇首机制传输数据。仿真结果显示,改进算法能够很好地均衡网络能量损耗分布,减少能量消耗,有效延长网络生存时间。 This paper proposes a LEACH based algorithm, in which additional parameters including the remaining level of candidates and the average energy cost of cluster-head to optimize the process of cluster-head selection. On the data transmission phase we consider to transmit data to the node which has the most remaining energy through prior calculating, thus to ensure balanced energy-usage among the nodes in the network. Preliminary simulation results show that our protocol greatly improves the performance and efficiently prolongs the network lifetime.
