摘要
简要分析了偏振相关色散对光通信系统性能的影响,在分析二阶段补偿方法的局限性的同时,对高阶PMD及其补偿问题进行了分析与讨论,提出了一种三阶段高阶偏振模色散补偿方案,从理论上分析了它同时补偿偏振相关色散和偏振主态旋转的可能性,并就工作方式、控制算法和补偿理论进行了较为详细的分析与描述.
The impacts of polarization dependent dispersion on systems are investigated briefly.The high-order PMD and its compensation are analyzed and discussed during analyzing the limitations of the two-order PMDC.A three-stage higher-order PMD compensation scheme is given.Theoretical analysis shows that it is capable of compensating polarization dependent dispersion and principal states of polarization rotation rate at the same time.And the operating points,the control algorithms and the compensation methods in the PMDC are discussed in detail.
