It is a phenomenon that there are many forms of the verb reduplication in the novel The Tale of Heroic Sons and Daughters and such reduplication is in whole patterns. Based on exhaustive research and investigation on the forms of the verb reduplication in the novel, the issues including overlapping pattern, overlapping characteristic and overlapping conditions are analyzed.
